Forland Shipping announces MV Lewek Inspector launched Thursday, Apr 25, 2013 Forland Shipping proudly launched its new ship MV Lewek Inspector at the Cemre Shipyard in Altinova in Turkey 13th of April 2013. At exactly 11:00 am, Managing Director Arne Magnus Johnsen split the silk ribbon with an axe, the champagne was released, and the ship glided graciously into the sea. She floated in a perfect manner with one to two degrees aft trim and her curves looked very elegant in its right element. "One of our best, if not the best launching ever" said Site Manager Reidar Storli from Havyard. "Forland Shipping is grateful to Cemre Shipyard and its workers that have delivered according to our expectations and in time. This is a great and moving moment for all of us," said Arne Magnus Johnsen. The ship will be towed to Sogn in Norway for fitting out and finishing. The scheduled time of arrival is in mid-May.
