Despite a downturn in the construction sector over the last two years, business at Taunton Fabrications over that period has increased by a massive 35% this was just one of the reasons that Taunton Fabrications was recently named as the 2012 Somerset Business of the Year (6 - 50 employee category).

The awards, organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce, is one of the most important and popular fixtures in Somerset’s business calendar. The event organisers commented that the standard of the entries this year had been exceptional, whilst the number of companies entering was up by 20 per cent, proving that the popularity and prestige of the Somerset Business Awards continues to increase year on year.

Mr Jason Rigby MD said that “Measures taken at the start of the recession means that Taunton Fabrications now operates in a completely different way than it did a few years ago. This award shows that those decisions were the right ones but couldn’t have been achieved without the commitment and dedication of the whole team at Taunton.”
