Holden Captiva (Q2)

After a tumultuous 2013, Holden says 2014 will be a year of “letting our customers know Holden is here to stay, and consolidating our position across all product categories”. But some new product news will slip in between all the communication and consolidation. A model year update for the Captiva 5 and Captiva 7 SUVs will arrive next year. Following the lead of its Chevrolet twin overseas (pictured), the rear of the revised soft roader will feature new LED tail-lights, angular chrome exhaust tips, and a remodelled bumper. Up front there’s a new lower bumper design, mesh grille and restyled fog lights, while unique 18-inch alloy wheels complete the exterior changes. Inside the Captiva will be trimmed in a range of new fabrics, with fresh highlight elements in the instrument panel. On selected models, expect dual-zone climate-control, ambient lighting and heated rear seats to be added to the standard specification.
