Introduction



The outer ring of miniature flanged ball bearings is flanged, and the bearing positioning no longer requires a bearing chock, so the axial positioning of the bearing is simpler and more economical. The flange prevents axial movement of the bearing, so the bearing can maintain good reliability and stability in a vibrating environment. In the mechanical structure design, we choose this type of bearing to simplify the mechanical structure design, and also meet the occasions when there is no connecting piece at one end of the shaft and it needs to be fixed. Like miniature ball bearings, miniature flanged ball bearings have the advantages of high precision, high speed, low vibration, and low noise, with a wide range of uses.

Production Details



◆ Forging forming process

It consists of upsetting, forming, punching, reaming and shaping processes, as follows:

1. Upsetting: The height of the blank is lowered and the diameter is increased at the same time.

2. Forming: The blank is deformed by the punch in one or several concave mold cavities, and the formed bad material that meets the process requirements is obtained. Different forming processes can obtain different shapes of forming blanks.

3. Punching: Punch out the formed material core, or cut off the damaged inner and outer rings of the tower, or punch a through hole in the center of the bad material after upsetting.

4. Reaming: Reduce the wall thickness of blank, expand its inner diameter and outer diameter at the same time, and change the cross-sectional shape of the forging.

5. Shaping: The blank after reaming is directly finished in the cavity of the concave model. This is beneficial to further improve the geometrical and dimensional accuracy of the forgings and the dimensional consistency of the same batch of forgings.



◆ Bearing steel surface quality inspection

1. Size and shape: GB/T14981-1994 "Hot-rolled wire rod size, shape, weight and allowable deviation" and GB T905-1994 "Cold-drawn round steel, square steel, hexagonal steel size, shape, weight and allowable deviation" and other standards have made relevant regulations on the size, roundness and allowable deviation of round steel.

2. Bending degree of round steel. The bending degree is specified in GB/T18254-2002 "High Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel".

3. Surface defects. Visual inspection, without cracks, scratches, folds, rust, stuttering, etc.



Steel Ball Surface Strengthening Treatment



After the surface of the steel ball is strengthened, it is in a state of compressive stress, which is related to the plastic deformation of the metal in the cold state. When the metal is plastically deformed in the cold state, the character is distorted, elongated, and broken, and many atoms are moved from the original densest atomic arrangement, resulting in The density of the metal decreases and the volume increases, while the metal in the subsurface layer does not undergo plastic deformation, and has good elasticity, which hinders the increase in the volume of the surface metal. In this way, the metal in the subsurface layer exerts compressive stress on the surface metal. The surface strengthening of steel balls often adopts mechanical collision method. On the horizontal metal cylinder wall, there are evenly distributed lifting bucket steel plates for lifting steel balls along the circumference. A small amount of diesel oil is added to the cylinder, and the cylinder is rotated at a low speed to make the surfaces of the steel balls collide with each other. Be strengthened, when strengthening small steel balls (diameter ≤ 10mm), a high-speed rotating inner cylinder is also installed in the cylinder to enhance the collision ability. The strengthening process is generally arranged after hard grinding and before fine grinding.
