Product description

The MgO powder or MgO tube, ceramic cap, resistance wire (NiCr2080), high temperature leads, and seamless stainless steel sheath make up the 3D Printer heating element for injection molds (304,321,316,800,840). Usually in tube form, it is inserted into metal blocks through a succession of drilled holes for use in heating applications. There are two major types of 3D Printer heating element produced: high density and low density.

Low density 3D Printer heating element is better suited for applications including packaging machinery, heat sealing, labeling machines, and hot stamping, whereas high density 3D Printer heating element is used to heat plastic injection mould, dies, platens, and other objects.

Q5:Why does an electric heater run for a while after being turned off?

Heaters consumer a large amount of power. The resistance heating coils remain hot after the thermostat turns them off.To prevent this heat from being wasted, the circulating fan can continue to run for a predetermined amount of time in order that this heat be moved to the room and not wasted.Likewise there is usually a delay before the fan comes on after the heater is energized, to allow it to warm up and not circulate cold air in the ducts.

Q6:How do I fix a small electric heater?

Generally speaking those little electric heaters are not designed to be fixed. They're usually so cheap that it's not worth it. In many cases you can't even take the case apart to get into it. If it's a type that has a resistant heating element, what frequently goes wrong is the wire burns through. Once that happens the element will no longer heat up. The other thing that can happen is that the blower motor behind it goes bad. Again, it's cheaper to buy a new one then try to fix an old one.
